36 Hour Silent Retreat for Women
"Come Away, and Rest for Awhile"
GlenMary Retreat House is hosting a 36 hour silent, self-directed pray retreat from 5pm Monday September 16 through to Wednesday September 18 morning. There is space for 4 women and are available on a first-come-first-serve basis.
The cost of the retreat is $50. Accommodations (private room with shared bathroom) and meals are provided. The food will be simple and frugal, in keeping with the spirit of a retreat.
Retreat Schedule
Monday, September 16
Retreatants are welcome to arrive anytime after 4pm. Each retreatant has a private room and has access to a shared living room, sitting room, front deck and seating areas on the property (weather permitting).

Dinner will be provided Monday 5pm-7pm. Each retreatant will take their meals in solitude
Tuesday, September 17
Breakfast is provided between 6am-8am. Coffee and tea will be available from 5am onwards
​Lunch is provided between 12-2pm
​5:30pm travel to Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Lapasse (6 min drive)
6:00 Rosary (Confession will be available)
6:30 Holy Mass, Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Lapasse
​Dinner is provided between 7pm-8pm

Wednesday, September 18
Breakfast is provided between 6-8am
8am Departure​​
​
*To foster an atmosphere of silence and solitude, meal servings will be staggered so each retreatant eats in solitude.
